Hey guys hows it going been awhile since ive had any major problems but im sus on this slight temp rise that has recently occured. My scan gauge used to tell me the my coolant temp was setting on 83 and had done soo for awhile now. Only recently has it started climbing to 90 mid drive home whilst cruising down the road/freeway. No external or internal headgasket leaks, rad isnt losing coolant, fans are coming on, Cleaned the rad grill, changed the rad cap. Im thinking i have a water pump issue, newish thermostat issue, or the coolant just needs a change.

Any ideas? Cheers

Strange things happen in Melbourne! ;)
In the '80s I was on a project for 8 months in Melbourne where my Range Rover occasionally would not start, would not crank so I would crank it manually (yes, back then the RR had a crank handle) brought it home over Christmas and no issues at all. Back to Melbourne after the holidays and the problem returned but when it returned to Sydney the problem never resurfaced again!

The tiniest leak from modern high pressure cooling systems will cause problems. Often, big problems ...
