So I'm probably going too far down the rabbit hole, but researching different wheels (black rhino boxers) for my Forester SJ 14 shows that fitting these will result in a different scrub radius to the stock wheels.

What Is Scrub Radius And Why Is It Important?

Has anyone had any experience with the difference a slightly changed scrub radius is making on the handling of their ride?

well scrub radius changes with offset, so just make sure you keep that . and you allways loose something with changes, with lift with larger tires or rims.

I've seen numerous comments stating that some peoples' experience with lifts is that the handling is better. The article you posted tends to support this (edit: If using OEM wheels)

Thanks, guys. Yep lifting seems to improve braking / traction control, but not affect scrub?

Putting on the black rhinos or the methods push the offset out slightly and thus marginally affect the scrub.

I'm interested if anyone's done something like that (fit the wheels with different offset) and what difference to handling they've noticed, if any?

Any and all input and shared experiences gratefully received. ☺️

with lift empty car is one thing car with driver is another and car with load in trunk or with people then its again another thing as those wheels changing angles all over the place when they go down , after lift all that is just more extreme, so in general you kinda dont want that those move too much , guess thats why people puting then harder springs there so it would become harder car but better on road.
so i dont think its not possible to make those wheel angles camber and such as they will change depends how much load is on car. i heard some people adjusting camber on wheels with load in trunk not on empty car.
well at least older forester are so much better on that then outback as they have just straight links , and even similar lenght ones, not like outbacks
