What a 24 hours.

Not due to my impact driver, and I have rotated wheels on a cars maybe about 100 times in my life. But yesterday i didn't have the front driver side flush when i did up the lug nuts. But let me rewind a bit.... When i was rotating the tires yesterday i noticed the front passenger side ABS sensor bolt was missing. Not sure how long its been missing but its happily been sitting in there. No ABS sensor code / ABS warning light. So after we drove the car to the local shops and back. I went to check out the ABS sensor bolt on the other side (front driver) to see what size the bolt is. 2 of the 5 lug nuts come off fine, the other 3 were stuck, seems that driving with the wheel not flush binded them up. The wheel must of been off by 1 mil.
Trying to find the right wheel studs and nuts in the week between christmas and new years is apparently a little difficult. Finally found them the next day at repco and got a mate to drive me out there. Now to attempt to replace the broken ones. A few images of my journey as this is my first attempt at replacing wheel studs.
Remove the wheel and un-bolt the brake caliper
Held the caliper out of the way with some cords
Knocked out the snapped wheel studs by lightly tapping them out with a hammer.
Luckily there was a gap to remove the old studs and insert the new ones.
To pull the studs through flush i used an old bolt to pull them through while screwing on the lug nut gently
Whoop-de-bang job done. Put the wheel back on all flush.... Went for a drive and everything looked good. Apparently its good to learn how to replace wheel studs, as out on the trails it can be a bit of a show stopper. I need to get a few spares.
Now to go an buy the ABS sensor bolt.
