Anyone playing PC games? I have a couple to sell and would be interested in buying some. FPS's are the ones i want. Farcry2 for sale. A couple of others. Maybe someone can suggest some to buy.:poke:

That's one thing that I never seemed to get into for some reason, but I hear they're lots of fun.

Command & Conquer Generals "Zero Hour", but I'm not selling. Sorry.

p.s. Also like Quake 3. That's a great multiplayer/networking game!!

I got C & C Tiberium Wars the other day for $9.00 as well as Assassins Creed but just can't figure out what the hell to do. My favourites are the original FarCry and for looks Crysis is on it's own.
My machine is fairly powerfull .....XFX 8800 GTS 512mb Alpha Dog Edition card,2.66ghz Core2Duo, 4g PC5400 memory, running a Samsung Syncmaster 2253BW 2ms monitor but it still has trouble with Crysis. Around 30fps on the second highest setting at 1680x1050 resolution.
I'm going to build a new computer starting next year. Hopefully the i7 processores will have dropped in price by the time i am ready to start.
With the general poor quality of television these days i think games offer a good alternative for a bit of amusement.

Only read about that the other day in PC Authority. They gave it good wraps. Is it on DVD and does it have single player NOT online?
For anyone running XP or Vista here is a link to the best guide i have EVER seen about tweaks and trouble shooting

FOR SALE: FarCry2 Good price + a few dollars for postage.

Love a good FPS but don't forget Colin McRae: get to drive the way we'd all love to!

Do you mean to say you don't drive like that now? :poke:
Shame on you bumper. With your new sump guard, you should have no fear in the dirt. Drive your Forester like it's a WRC car. It's a lot of fun. :discomonkey:

Except I've been reading here that you shouldn't do handbrake turns in a Foz (and a certain member who shared the car for an outing knows I have no idea how to do them anyway ).

Easy, if you have a manual gearbox.
Flick steering wheel one way quickly, then the other way, push in the clutch, pull on the handbrake and you'll soon be facing the other way.
Note: Don't do it on a rutted surface or the "other way" might be upwards.
