I've figured putting this here would be more appropriate (sorry for the double post):
Stockers w/o Lockers
August 29th, 2009
Webster Pass, Georgia Pass and Glacier Hill.
Possibly may include Red Cone. Work out details now
Meeting time/location: TBD
Runs are never canceled. If there are names here, it is on!
Include: The correct trail or trail name - A meeting time and place - Good directions or a map - A link to the thread discussing this run and another link to either traildamage.com or Charles Well's books - at least the General area if the above doesn't list the trail
If interested in doing the run, I would highly recommend AT tires (or equivalent), skid plates, and recovery/emergency gear. Those guys say it's an easy run, but for them, it looks like anything off the pavement without huge rocks is easy
Check out www.TrailDamage.com and look up the trail descriptions. They do look fairly mild, but steep and rocky. I'm pretty confident about our Outback's capabilities, but it won't be for the faint hearted. Let's go show these guys that subarus are not limited to Mall parking lots
Btw, they've said we're welcome to join the run
