Draw sizes

I can measure mine tomorrow but you should probably measure the space yourself to be sure ;)
 
Does 215/65/r16 fit in spare wheel well?? Ive read up on your post on subaruforester.org. i reckon i could do exactly what they did for you. How did they mount that steel bar. Is bolted in where the cargo hooks would be??
 
Yes, the 21565r16 does fit - you may need to "modify" the wheel well a little; I found a 4x2 and a lump hammer did the job ;-)
The steel bar is bolted to the cargo hook location; but after it failed I changed mine to gate hinges bolted to the floor.

On the topic of drawers, what do you do with the spare wheel well? kinda hard to get to with drawers on top isn't it?

Yes, yes they do. A little deflation is all that's required I found.
 
mmm i may skip the the hinge part, cut out a flat board and put the DRAWERS ontop of that. Hell if im already doing that i might as well design my own set of DRAWERS while im at it

But how do you get the spare out with the drawers in (without a lot of bother)?
 
In my case it's the second spare under the drawers so not an issue
