He used to bash Subarus because of his experience, he said, but slowly and over time, his videos started to become biased toward them. I remember him mentioning in one of his videos that some his clients have been selling their Toyotas and buying Subarus lately and he gets to service them. He mentioned the price point difference.

Here in this video, he praises this SG Forester that is Made in Japan. The Forester talk stops at around 7 mins before he gets to do some Q&A.

Some of his points are off especially with the 6 cylinder engines but I can imagine him doing some searching and getting more and more curious with the brand. Cheers.

I used to watch him, but he started to grate.

Yup. I used to, too. That video just popped up on my YT recommended and I watched it anyway. I bet he's going to get more and more acquainted with Subarus soon. He came from completely bashing it to praising it like that one above.

once people give non accurate information i stop watching them,
he says only foresters are made in Japan which isn't true (even for the US market)
another quote was "boxer engines are old technology" so are all internal combustion engines :ROFLMAO: and tires and wheel bearings.............

True, I agree with you. It's more of hearsay whenever I see YT opinions and judgements. People still listen to hearsay but that's their problem.

An example is his judgement of JATCO transmissions. He generalised the quality of JATCO made ones when, in fact. JATCO is just a contract manufacturer, they get the design from the engineers and they just build them. They don't design the transmissions, at all.

His older ones used to be helpful because they were proper DIY videos. In the past few years, his videos are mostly about whining about modern mechanical technology and against cars that he don't like.

Just a few moments ago, I stopped watching car videos by the so-called car enthusiasts and motor journalists because I realised how clueless they were about the physical and engineering side of things.
