SG struts into SF

Hi all.

Tried a quick search, but not easy to do. I know that the struts will fit, if you have top hats etc. someone has mentioned that the SG struts will lift the SF a bit, is this true?

Yes direct swap. Using your SF springs & tophats, SG rear struts will lift the rear about 1/2" & give 1/2" more tyre clearance under the spring perch

ok thanks. can I use the SG spring? whole reason for this was to get rid of the SF springs that are sagged.

Yes, you can use SG springs but will need SG tophats.

Another option is Outback BG struts, they will give you another 10mm spring perch clearance and thus 10mm more lift.

That's what I thought. Soni got the whole strut. I thought I read somewhere that you could use SG control arms also

On an SF, you can install everything from an SG. I have SG control arms (+2cm track) and SG rear lateral arms (+3cm track). You can keep the SF axles though.
