custom light bar

just wondering who has made a custom lightbar? im going to make one at work and fit it to my outback but i dunno where to bolt it onto the car, i was thinkin of makin sumthin that pops out the gap down the bottom(if u no what i mean?) there not massive lights, only 2of narva ulima 175's, i could prob buy just the little light bar from supercheap but i dont want to wreck the front bumper. any help would be good picturs of where to bolt onto would be awesome.

Mav them light bars from supercrap are made to mount with the numberplate scres now exactly very strong espacially if you go off rd
as for roof mounting have you got a roof rack/basket?
as you could mount them on the front of that
 
i'd go the number plate option. it would be a lot easier to wire without drilling holes in the roof, and wouldn't get in the way of roof mounted products. the other thing with roof mounted spots they can annoying in rain and snow.

yeh it looks different, ive never seen any other car like that from where i live, so it should stand out a bit, ill do a write up how i made it, im gonna try and make it from stainless steel so itl last forever and try n polish it up aswell, should be a proper job :ebiggrin:
 
then when ya get yer lights on we can get 2gether & have a light show
I'm getting some new small rectangle lights soon to put up on the roof bars prob get 4 of them, then with(10) lights on, my rig will look like the mother ship LOL

still only got 6 lights but none with them all on:sad:
