Kevin's Simpson Desert mishap

I just read on sf.org that our mate Kevin had a mishap in the Simpson...

Don't worry he was with a large group and a recovery was arranged. He has been towed out and is currently in Alice Springs waiting for parts, which I believe are all covered by warranty....

All cool - it's not his Subie!!

Kevin, if you're out there - I hope it all works out well. Sounds like its working out fine. Hope you have a great 2nd leg of the trip!

I expect a full report on my desk in the morning (or at least a trip report with pics)! :lol:

... My Landcruiser made some noises when it broke a piston into three bits.

It went "dollar, dollar dollar" ...
