The last one is the one i intend on getting into an 8x10.

the thing that makes me the most fuzzy inside is the ride home and the ride around town on the way back to the dorms. little kids yelling to look at the car and people giving me huge smiles and thumbs ups and waving. I just love the fact that there are still people that appreciate fun. I do get the assholes that don't think cars should go into mud or off the roads, because it's a car. they think the car looks like **** muddy blah blah blah why don't you put a turbo on it blah blah it's not fast. for the record, i don't intend on it being fast (do plan on swapping in for a more built N/A motor)

I'm very happy i found this forum, because nobody else really understands like a subaru enthusiast(the off road subaru enthusiast)

Thank you for your support :)

Yes, they say that mud packs make you look beautiful - it works!

Awesome Pics!!! Looks like fun.:)

It's not what you drive but the fact that you have fun doing it. You have to realize the limitations (and also the potential) of what you have to work with and your abilities as a driver to just go out and have fun. My first "off-road" vehicle was a '91 or '92 Toyota Corolla. I just really got into driving it around on the forest service roads around here and having a blast getting it all covered in mud. Then I moved on to the '83 Subie GL and went and started finding more difficult trails. Next the Forester XT, which very sadly:sad: was a project I never got to complete, but I had plenty of (off-road) fun in it along the way. Yeah, I've defected back to the Yota:redface:, but most of the off-road available to me a stock Subie just isn't capable of and having been bitten by the bug, I really wanted to get out there and do some exploring, so in rolls the 4Runner. When/if I ever get a job again:rolleyes:, I've already got the next Subie off-road build going on in my head, just need to be able to fund it. I'll also keep the Yota then I can have one to drive while the other is being worked (modded) on.:)

always good man, i'm waiting to be more secure in my funds to start doing other things, among those get a truck so i have a "backup" vehicle in case I break one :lildevil:

we didn't get any of me doing flatspins on the edge of the mud hole... :(

if i only had a less retarded brother from the fraternity taking a million pictures instead of just a few to minimally satisfy me :|

Those people who knock it must lead very dreary lives. What is the harm in doing it. Sure, it might be a bit childish, but then even in my mid 40's I don't think I'm ever going to grow up. And why should I? People just do not know how to have harmless fun once they get past their teenage years. I feel sorry for them.

Why should any of us. :raz:
As they say, you're only as young as you feel. :)
And I love being young at heart.

i don't think i will ever grow up either  (i'll be 19 in a little over 2 weeks lol)

there is the potential to hydrolock it, but that'd be some pretty deep water. it'll be better after i make my skidplate and everything

Nice mud pit! Those legacy guys seem a bit timid..way to coat your subie in mud!!

thank ya thank ya, those legacy guys are mostly city kids. they don't understand mud and dirt. I, however, do. when your first memory is a sprint car race, you kind of have to.

I hear ya! LP. I just took my OEM plastic guard off on Saturday and sent it to my guy who's gonna fab one up! I had to purchase a long 12mm socket, but other than that it was easy. I have some shots of the foz on my ramps which I'll download later. First time using the ramps and man was there room under there. I was on my side, back, rolling around...it was nice having so much room under there. pics later.

Ah yes, I remember the times when I had to tell mommy about what I did to my car... not so great of times, really.
