I use an outside surface spray (Mortein)

I've had one spinning it's web in & on there for about three months now
I finally nailed him about a couple of weeks ago & it was all good
That was until his mate decided to take his place a few days ago

All you guys need to drown them out with muddy water! :raspberry:

Hay Nachaluva, I think I'll have to get you to come over to my place to get the one thats in my side mirror :madred:

He can go via my place and do both of mine as well!

Hahaha my rates are very reasonable :raspberry:

All you guys need to drown them out with muddy water! :raspberry:

Thats not a bad idea actually :iconwink: I hadn't thought of that

Talking of animal encounters with water crossings, it reminds me of a long water crossing I did a couple of years ago.
I was about half way across & these two ducks decided that they wanted to have a surf on the bow wave I had going

And I'm happy to say that we all made it across safely, ducks included :quitar:

Washed the foz inside, out, underside, engine bay. The whole lot. Wiped the whole interior down, got most of the beach sand out of the carpets and Armour-All'ed everything. Checked my tyre pressures, engine oil (needed a small top up) and made sure everythings working.
Only thing is the spotties aren't working but that should be a simple fix.

Shes now ready to be packed for the move to Perth on the weekend.

The superchargers arrived today and im going to go pick them up on Saturday on my way to Perth.

Today I also found a 2001 Outback forsale on ebay. $2000 and it has 431,000km!!! I want that kind of km on my foz! :raspberry:

Wow... my 1990 L series has 190k! haha

Well today I tried putting that epsom salts and distilled water in my old battery... it has been hesitating on start up every now and then so before I go out and buy a new one I'll try to revive this one for the $4 it cost for the stuff. Should have some results in a week.

Great CB install mate, looks very sleek :iconwink:
Im sure you could get your OB to 450,000km if you keep up the correct services :raspberry:

I hate to tell you but those spotties won't fit on your bullbar. Dave (my mate) had a similar issue, the tubing isn't high enough. He ended up going Narva rectangle ones (cant remember size or model but they were the biggest ones Narva made) then put 55watt HID's in them.
The 175's are good, I have a pair on the front of my foz  but Daves HID'ed lights power all over mine.
The 175's will only just fit on a Foz Subaxtreme bar as there is more clearance between the tubing and bar.

I just want to get a drill and wind the km upto something ridiculous . Then take the car back to my mechanic and ask for a service
What a classic :rotfl:
Hay taza, I think you've been spending too much time in the sun with the hot days you've been having over there mate
Most people want to wind the speedo back, not forward  :poke:

+1 haha :rotfl:

Nope, defernately forward not back. Plus I don't think I could get away with it if there was only 20,000km on the clock with the state my foz is in :iconwink:

Maybe this 2 weeks of over 40 is getting to me, who knows :iconwink:

Sorry mate- I think it has!:) Over this side of the world can you believe it's February and I'm wearing long sleeves and sloppy joes. I was at the pub last night and they even had the heaters on. In FEBRUARY of all months! I'm not complaining though- I prefer it.

OMFG im sooo jealous now!! :raspberry:

I really want one, kinda wish I got it but the chrome just wouldn't go with my car. Atleast I know its gone to another Subaru enthusiast :iconwink:

Now your going to have to add your other 2" of lift, the bar, spotties, UHF and everything!!!

Didn't you say the car used to be your sisters? Its changing soo much, for the better

Did a test this morning in the foz. Did a 5th gear pull from 70-90km/hr and it took 23seconds. This was into head wind(~60km/hr) on a flat with empty load and roff basket on.

Now add ~500kg to the car and go on the highway. Overtakings just impossible in 5th!

Also starting to pack the foz for the trip to Perth tomorrow. 7hour drive. I can't wait, I just want to keep driving. Love it  Cruise control at 115km/hr, music loud, bass turned up, 2litres of Iced Coffee and im set :raspberry:

I picked up my new bull bar yesterday

Good stuff mate! Can't wait to see you're foz with it's new shirt :p

Should set her off now. Will you be looking for a set of alloy rims to really set her off or stick with the steelies?

Cheers

It looks terrific, mate :) .

I have been out buying some new work boots.

Got a REAL army disposal trenching tool that used to belong to Sgt Penders. Well worn, but all metal. Just gave it a drink of machine oil at all the operative points, and it works like new again. Of course, it came in its purpose-built military belt pouch. Perfect.

Took my 7x4 trailer to the trailer doctor, and he confirmed my worst fears - if it were a horse, they'd shoot it; if it were a car, and I were driving it, I'd be in jail ...

Some young person with a welder and some knowledge can resurrect it, but I will be selling it on for what it's worth. Probably around $200 ...

Looks as if a new 6x4 trailer with Subaru 16" steel wheels and spare is in my near future too. I have all the other camping gear I will ever need.
