this may not be relevant to you but...
If I ever do another subaru snorkel I'll be getting custom stainless preferably with mandrel bends.
Not that I've got anything against using another vehicle's snorkel, but stainless looks soo much better imho.
I've seen some rad ones madae out of pvc pipe too, but you have to be into grunge for that sort of thing on the outside of the vehicle.

I just went to a wreckers and held a few against the fender to see which was best fit. Others have filled them with sand, applied heat and bent them to a suitable shape.

I put a mitsu pajero snorkel on my 04 Sg Forester. Probably fits your Impreza better than any snorkel out there thats not Subaru specific
