Media Embedder not working

EDIT: No idea how to get the videos to display here rather than just links. Im sure they used to just work...

It seems the "Automatic Media Embedder" is not working; I'm checking for a fix. It could be as a result of going to "https"

From my looking, it appears to be to do with https as opposed to http.

I had downloaded a new version of AME ready to install but when I researched it I found that many sites are also having issues with it due to https so we'll need to hold off a while for a solution.

I've done a bit more research, testing (fiddling!) and seem to have the current version working again. I'm reluctant to load a newer version until there are signs that it functions with https.

If you have a youtube link that has not been embedded just "edit" the post then "save", this will allow AME to look at it again and do its magic (I hope!) You do not need to make any changes to the post itself.
