any body know what wires are what on the o2 sensor on my `98 outback DOHC 2.5, ?.
colors i got on plug ( male) are :
yellow / red
white
black / white
i looked thru a couple wiring diagrams , but nothing useable.
i put DMM lead on engine earth , an got + 12v on yellow / red wire , on o2 plug , but what are the other 2 ? which one is for the signal in, and heater earth. engines been wired up with a aftermarket sensor , two whites and black , i know the whites are heater, and black signal out.
i also connected my DMM to signal out from O2 sensor and got reading of average 450 to 550 mv, is this reading ok , i was sitting on bout 80 kph.
