I'll have to lift my game to compete with Rally.
First ditch would require momentum in a stock Forester, but the Hotbits did a good job keeping all 4 on the ground and made it look easy. Hotbits were still no match for my hole finding capabilities straight after. Still an easy climb over all. Offroading in general the car feels smoother over bumps and there's less body leaning when going over uneven ground.

Great video and shots there. Good flex too. And lucky it was dry there. And yes on videos everything looks so easy and simple. Some of my videos i never post because its looks just plain easy drive when you look at it.
Who was holding camera did pretty good job there.

A few more hills in a similar area. More wheel travel meant the wheels spent less time in the air so less momentum was needed. But a locker or electronic traction aid would have made life easier.

There was an interesting assortment of vehicles on the day...

For comparison the 2wd diff locked white falcon with big AT tyres did at least as well as me on everything except one very steep loose rocky hill. While the diff locked BMW on low profile street tyres and the open diffed red falcon on muddies were both a struggle. Gear ratios added to their struggles. The Land Cruiser was just there to make sure the BMW got home and wasn't interested in doing any challenges.

This would be the most difficult hill climb that I've done. Had 5 attempts all up, but not all in the video. 17psi but very little traction being steep dry gravel. Reversing back down felt a bit sketchy, but wasn't too bad using mostly handbrake instead of foot brake to stop the front wheels locking up and following the rut. The hill didn't actually lead anywhere, so the U turn and descent felt very sketchy. Especially having to cross the ruts. First scratch on the new wheels happened at 9:49, not too bad though. Thanks to Dedman for the guidance! Great having somebody with experience in these situations around.

Looks sketchy ! You haven't changed the oil in the HotBits yet, have you ? It seems that you still have the stick-slip effect. Well, as long as you have no leaks, just keep going. Nice videos, well done !
 
I can live with the stick-slip effect, so just going to wait until they leak before changing the oil.
