Sealing up cabin vents MY09 Foz

Hey all,

As the title states, does anyone know where the cabin vents are on the new Forester?? Need to seal em up ASAP.

Do you mean the HVAC air intakes? They are under the hood at the base of the windshield.

You know i have to ask, but why?

Or - do you mean those that are behind the rear bumper in the side wheel arch panels. If anything like previous models you may be able to get at them from inside the cargo area but it would be awkward. I sealed mine up with the bumper removed when I installed the SubaXtreme rear bar.

You may be able to pack the area inside the back of the wheel arch with some foam rubber (if dust is the issue). But for water crossings a better seal is needed.

Yeah Kevin your on the money there. Thanks for the info, just worried about the dust at the moment but once a few more mods are done might have to do it properly...
