EJ25 into 95imp

I do aplogize because I am sure that this is a hacked to death topic. but, I need more power. while I love my car the 1.8 is gutless to put it lightly and I am looking at putting an EJ25 (maybe 2.2 head and intake franken motor???) under the hood. I have done some looking around and it looks like I need an EJ25D for the easiest swap but I just want to put it out there to the crowd brain. what do I need to know/do so I dont mess this up?

Having owned a '93 Impreza with the EJ-18 donk for about 18 years and around 250,000 kms, I have to agree about it being gutless!

Love the torque, power and gearing of Roo2 by comparison - and ground clearance, ease of getting my old, buggered bones in and out, etc, etc :lol:.

You will need to swap the ECU and wiring loom as well AFAIK.
