Hi all. Hopefully in allowed to post this here. (Otherwise mods please move)
I have been alerted to a company who is willing to build an unreal locker for a particular make provided there is enough interest.

Im in no way affiliated to this mob! I just wish somebody would finally make lockers haha. So hopefully with enough people down for it, we may be in luck..

I have put my name down for F and R lockers.

A front is almost impossible to make a locker for a Subaru given the design.
Once again you can try but 95% of people who offroad subarus are cheap ***** which are not willing to spend 3k on a bullbar let alone 3-4k on a locker. Ideally the cost of production and lack of interest(when money has to be put in up front) will be the biggest issue.
Ive been luck enough to source one of those uber rare R160 rear auto lockers that were made in the 1980's. Even to replicate that its not worth it $$$ wise. Funnily enough i dont own an offroad-able subaru anymore but couldnt pass up the oppurtunity when it came up :lildevil:.

Interesting guys. Spose its really a dream then. But when you have the rear articulation of a lawnmower it starts to get old.

Not good if people are munching these lockers too. Id blow it first trip to the hills purley because of lifting wheels, spin the wheels then hitting the ground and shocking the diff.
Still keen to be test dummy but not if im left high n dry when it spits the dummy and the manufacturer says theres nothing wrong with it.
But hey, never know!

Except that doesn't happen with a locker, you no longer have to smash through the ruts
 
True actually. Sorry been a long day.
With my crap Gen3 OB low range i need to clutch slip n kick every now and then (like in the Mundaring powerlines on the interesting bits). Might be another thing to think about but low range another thing to tackle to make it all easier on the car..
 
You'll find you won't need to with a locker, I used to have to punch through with my old 4wd, fitted a front locker and 3 wheeled everywhere haha, great fun

Be interested if anything comes from it though
