My old L series doing the Condamine Crossings. Sadly the gear box packed it in couple of weeks later.

Part 1 and 4 are the same. Your co-pilot seemed quite calm.
 
That's a bugger about your gearbox, Tim.

Hopefully not water from the crossings.
 
suspect it might have been went out forgetting it had a suspect leak from the dipstick O-ring then while out there it started to blow all the fluid out the breather.
 
no the Leone wasn't fixed. An opportunity arose for me to get the missus an 08 Duel Range XS Premium and I got to build her 2001 Limited Forester into my new off roader. Most of the good bits of my L series went to my brother who has a duel range Sportswagon so he certainy scored but keeps the family of Subarus strong.
 
Gear box on the leone was bunny hopping in the end and it still had fluid. Have always found with automatics I like them but they always seem to blow up on me right after I pay some guy to service them. Convert of the manual transmission now.
 
hopefully hitting condamine up this holidays so if it isn't deemed to deep should have some cool vids.
