2011 Forester "XZ" (Zombie Edition)

So I've finally decided on a theme for my Foz - the Zombie Edition.

I know it's nothing super original, everyone does it to their trucks, but I think mines gonna be unique because not only is it a Foz, but I plan on heavily modifying it (don't let the fact that the bank still owns it stop you from chopping it up, I always say).

On my to-do list are:
CREE Led light bar(s)
Snorkel/Diff Breather (not sure how I'd snorkel the exhaust and make it look good)
Fender Flares
More skid plates
Lift
Larger Tires, Smaller Rims
Steel bumper that's pretty much nonexistent in front of the tires
Obligatory Zombie Vehicle markings

But first... I'm gonna mount this grille guard I pulled off a Suzuki.

Got the lights in under the grille - they were the ones that came with the bar so they're pretty weak halogens. Bulbs may need to be changed but I'm gonna swap them out for some CREE LED's once I can afford it. Still working on a template for my bar brackets, hopefully that goes on in the next two weeks!

I'm also thinking of brazing together an aluminum mounting bracket to get the lights centered - right now the off-center hood latch prevents that.
 
I like the way you've cut your grill but the paint seems to peel off.

Yeah chrome plastic kinda sucks to paint. Next time I might try stripping and etching it with acetone or something. I'll have to touch it up again for sure. If I really can't get it how I like it I'll just mold one out of Carbon
