Idling speed of 3.6

Gidday Joe

I can't specifically say about the 3.6, but all our other 'modern' cars (I.e. post 1990) idle at between about 650-800 rpm depending on what's happening with the a/c and alternator. If the fans, head lights or other high drain items are running, the idle speed increases to spin the alternator up to full output, or thereabouts ... Ditto with the a/c.
