Hi all,
I'm just about to get a couple of new rear driveshafts, and just wanted to check - there seem to be two different types available. My car has the "floating" type of CV cup at the diff, and the "fixed" type of CV cup near the hub (the tapered type which looks like an egg cup). But these new shafts I'm looking at have the floating type at both ends. It probably doesn't really matter but I just wanted to check, why are there two different types? My car is an `88 mpfi touring wagon. Surely the rear K frames / hubs are the same between models anyway.
