Hi all.
Having pulled apart the tailgate of the Outback to look at the rear of the garnish to see if there are provisions for extra stop lights as the garnish lights arent used! The answer is yes, there are blanked out provisions for extra stops but i spotted a globe next to the drivers side stop provision. Ahuh! A rear fog light, brand new 21w globe, all wired up and plugged in straight from factory.
My question is, why doesnt it work? (assuming it works off the same fog light switch as the front fogs, i dont have the button for a rear?) I have never seen it work on a Gen 3 before? Its factory and all wired up and plugged in, new globe, tried flipping the globe around incase it was around the wrong way. Checked the fusebox which had an R-FOG fuse. The fuse was okay.
What or where can i find what is disabling the rear fog light?
Cheers!
