Windscreen Replacemant Cost with Eyesight

People are reporting on another forum that here in Australia it costs $2400 to have an OB's windscreen replaced if you have Eyesight as it must be calibrated. Anyone got any experience with this one.

Maybe call your Subaru dealership & ask them if it does. Also ask what they charge.

My understanding as well.

Make certain that your comprehensive insurance policy covers windscreen damage/breakage.

Check with your insurance claims dep, the windscreens and calibration on the subarus are expensive.

Make sure they don't book in O'Brien,or national as both will **** the job up / not know how to do it properly. They still **** up rain sensors on a daily basis

Seems to me there is a SERIOUS problem with the new outback and it's windscreen.
