Photographer mate and I are planning to go for a quick trip around west Gippsland tomorrow, weather permitting and my being fit for purpose in the morning ...

Planning to have lunch at Inverloch, then come back after dinner via some back roads to test out the new light bar under real conditions.

We had a great day, and got as far as the beach at Cape Liptrap.

Some good photos were taken ...

Everything worked. After 12.5 hours on the road, and around 500 kms, I'm rooted!

^ I have uploaded the pics to my PC. Had some other stuff to do today.

Maybe a thread on it tomorrow. Even after a very good night's sleep last night, I still feel rat-***ed today.

The light bar was brilliant (pun intended ... :iconwink: ), both on the open road and on winding, dirt mountain roads as well. Very comfortable about vision at 80-100 kmh on the latter, regardless of environment.

More importantly, the light coverage passed the 'passenger test'. My mate was very comfortable about the speeds I was doing and reckoned he had never been in any vehicle with as good lights!

Some teaser pics of Roo2 in its natural environment on Walkerville beach on Waratah Bay, very late in the day (about 1730H). Wilson's Promontory is just across the bay.

Gave a (very) fleeting thought to driving through here:

Quite a steep and damaged boat ramp to the beach, specially the bottom half of it. Roo2 handled it with complete aplomb.
