End-link mount broken

I'm currently part way through changing my clutch and was about to tackle the removal of the hub from the lower control arm (to remove the driveshafts) and noticed that the right end of the anti-roll bar was not attached to anything!

I'm not sure when this happened but it perhaps has been that way for some time. I guess I don't hook into corners like I did when I was younger, so therefore hadn't noticed the extra body roll...

No, the suspension is completely stock - never had any parts replaced. It has had a rough life at times though...too rough apparently!

I have seen quite few bar links that have been bent due to raised suspension. Guess you must have given it a belting at some stage!
If there was a rattle guess you have solved it !!

Indeed! I'm looking forward to sorting it out and driving the car with the 'correct' configuration again. Second-hand lower control arms seem to be relatively easy to come by, thankfully.

My front sway bar broke some 200000 kms ago, was removed, and has stayed that way.
I don`t notice it at all.
Guess I am gentle on corners.

Yeah, I'm surprised I hadn't found it noticeably rolly. The stock bar must be pretty light.
