Hello everyone, particular Australian outback (MY14) diesel CVT owners, have you ever towed caravan/camper trailers for period like 6 weeks before? How was the car coping if you did? I plan to tow a 1500kg (atm) camper with my MY14 2.0D CVT for roughly 6 weeks, will there be issue? Car manual says max towing 1700kg (atm).
Thanks in advance for your advice/experience sharing.

Does the CVT have a dedicated tranny cooler..?
If not, I'd have one fitted.

Thanks Rob...I'll check with Subaru for this.

Feedback from Subaru Australia:
"I can confirm that your vehicle does not require any transmission cooler to be added. Changes in the vehicle approximately 2010 onwards saw an improved and larger cooling system added to the transmission, which means the transmission in your vehicle can cope with towing a trailer up to its maximum limit."
