After spend 20 years of my life working in oil and gas exploration mostly central australia. Letting down the tyres is the second most important part of sand driving. The most important thing i have ever learnt is "if iTs moving do not stop" so so many times i have seen a vehicle moving inch by inch and it gets out. So many times i have said "why did you ******* stop!

God I say some stupid things when I'm drunk ..
 
Also replace plastic sump guard! The one on our Forester didn't last very long in the sand :(

Nice looking Outback too :)

The front lip "pouts" and acts like an extremely weak grader blade ... :poke: :cry:
