XT diff question

I think that the rear will be a vLSD. The front will be an open diff. LSDs on the front are not without their problems in ordinary use. I also think that the centre diff is different in the XT, but I'm not sure without doing a bit of research.
The FD ratio is 4.111:1 in an auto XT; in the 5MT XT, it is 4.444:1.
In a N/A auto Forester the AT FD ratio is 4.444:1; in the 5MT/DR, it is 4.111:1.
i.e. the FD ratios are reversed for AT and MT in the N/A and the XT.
Most of the box ratios are different between the XT and N/A.
All SG models, of course.

The 04/05 auto XT had a 4.44 rear diff but this was changed to 4.11 on the update 06/07 model in search of better fuel consumption. All manual 04/07 XT have the 4.44 rear diff ratio.
