Hello all-
My Outback is my daily driver as well as my offroad car. I got delivery of a 2014 3.6R last April, so this is my first winter with it.
I was sort of hoping for a combination offroad/winter tire (baby on the way, I doubt my wife would appreciate me coming home with multiple tire sets...), and saw the Grandtrek SJ6. I have quite a few highway miles during the week (maybe 300) for work, but would love something to take me up into the mountains (VT, NH, and upstate NY) for climbing/skiing on the weekends.
I'm a little leery of the SJ6, since I've been reading online that they aren't the best on ice, but otherwise they look like they would fit the bill.
Has anyone had any experience with them? Any other recommendations?
Thanks!
