'94 Impreza low range

Was an old '94 1,6 Impreza in my friends garage. Went for a drive to check the LR ratio. Revving at 4'000 in first gear high it was going 35 km/h and 24 km/h in low. That gives the 1,45:1 ratio

I've read a few times that the early 1,6 or 1,8 Impreza had the 1,59:1 LR but I have never seen an official info about it...
