Hi guys,
just checking to see whether this battery post distributor will work fine on the forester? I just like to have everything nice and neat, but just want to check if there will be any issues with the fuses in this one since it is most likely designed for your big patrols and cruisers with dual battery's.
The 30 Amp fuses for the accessories will be fine, but will the 150A continuous/800A peak fuse for the main line cause any issues?

I haven't used one of them, but first an idea of what your objective is would help. Ask yourself how many vehicles have the starter supply fused. I would personally NOT wish to have a fuse in that line, but that's just the electrical engineer in me speaking.

As an aside, if you do go ahead with that purchase, I have dealt with that ebay seller and they are great.

Yeah I've used that seller before and they are great.
Yeah I would prefer to have it unfused but the unfused distrib they have uses 90 degree connectors.
I am just trying to keep my wiring nice and organized for my light bar and any other future mods.

I guess it depends on how it is mounted - if the cover is an "umbrella" like the main Subie one under the bonnet then it should survive incidental water, but it isn't going to be IP65.

Maybe look it up at Narva and then ping them an email enquiry.

Yes just be aware that if a fuse blows in that, they are not common so you may have a tricky time getting one... most places may need to order it.
