Hey there,
I'm wanting to fit a tube bumper to my 2002 Subaru Outback VDC like this:https://i.imgur.com/1wmny0w.jpg
but the thing is, I'm wanting to hook up a winch to my bumper eventually. Talking around, some people don't think that welding the bumper to the stock mounting locations will be enough to support a winch pulling my car. I'd consider putting a 9000lbs winch on just in case.
My main question is this: is it possible to build a tube bumper that would hold under the stress of pulling my car out of a mud hole though a winch?
Thanks!
