Now that's MUD! The really claggy, sticky, slippery, nasty stuff:

We collected it from this delightful track (Phasmid Track - it's visible on Google Maps) ...

It only took us three hours to get down 300+m over a distance of about 900m ... This was mid-summer, BTW ...

Just came back from a trip out western NSW. Mungo, Menindee, Broken Hill, Mutawintji.

I rained in BH while we were there, so the freshly opened road into Mutawintji was a little muddy.

Dual range 5MT '99 Outback with JDM 2.0 Twin Turbo conversion.

I have fond memories of my '93 Impreza, even though it was gutless as hell (EJ-18 ... ), had all the wrong gearing, and the ECU tune left a great deal to be desired! I had it for nearly 18 years.

Got burned off by every shopping pram and 5 ton truck around the city, but there was very little that could come close to it on winding country roads ... The Lancefield road, for example ... . Lovely touring car.
