im putting a lift on my car and was planning on 2.5 inches on the totally stock rear. I feel like it will be fine but folks kinda got me paranoid. what are your thoughts?

That amount of lift will be fine in the rear, it's the front that has problems going much over 2" without subframe spacing.

Shouldn't be an issue. Many of us are/have run 3". Depends on your needs. Best is to go less suspension lift and biggest tires you can if you really do need as much clearance as possible.

Just keep in mind suspension lift will cause accelerated cv wear and cv boots splitting more often. If you really don't need more than 2" i'd stick with that and some big tires for offroad.

i put in a 2 inch lift all around, i like it but i think would really like 3 in the rear. EJ, didnt you say 3.5 was fine for you?
