Had a bit of fun last weekend on the beach for the first time in my Forester.

Not much video, but at least you get the idea! Got my own action camera the other day, so will be able to film from My Forester next time.

Looked like great fun! I wish I was there. That ute deserved to be laughed at, the Subies put it to shame! Still think you NEED a lift?

Not sure,aye? :s I might just go 1"blocks with standard king springs, so I can still have performance and a little offroad. But my wife's car need be replaced in the next 12months so might get a Hilux 4x4, my heart is torn. lol

Hilux is going to be a bit agricultural to drive after the Subaru, but plenty of people like that. (not me)

I just went 1" lift blocks and it made a huge difference for me, next on my list is some wider tyres. But for now I'm happy with mine in the sand.

As for King springs, I like my soft ride, but do understand why others like the firmer ride.

Yeah, might do that. Do you have self leveling suspension as well?

Yeah, but it died and doesn't work any more.

Lol, ok. did it fail because of the lift?

No, we discovered it had died when we were doing the lift so it had died some time before then, it was just worn out probably due to age.
