A warm :welcome: to the ORS, mate :).

Try Lucas at Lucas Automotive in Moorabbin. He specialises in modifying Subarus for performance.

Try the Vic WRX Club perhaps? 20" wheels won't work for you off road, unless you like the look of a 50 cent piece, so maybe have the original rims for that sort of work. FMIC's will increase lag and unless you are really chasing horsepower unsuited for off road use, are probably a step backwards. FMIC's are also vulnerable to staking. Process West make a good TMIC which you may wish to consider. I don't know anyone who has modded the new XT's and WRX's yet. They run direct injection, and if you upgrade the turbo you may need to upgrade the injectors (and pump) and I have no idea what is available in the way of upgraded injectors for direct injection engines. Will be interesting to see how you go.

Nice

I'd suggest OzFoz.com too. They are right into modding Foresters for high performance & are very helpfull with your type of questions.

I agree with Rally, a quality TMIC will work fine until you aim for super high, axle snapping power. But do it in stages...Process West TMIC, full 3" exhaust, dump pipe, injectors, pump, BOV, tune, etc.

As far as tuners go, proceed cautiously! There are several tuners out there who have a horrible reputation yet still get lots of work. The result of a bad tune is a blown engine!:shake:

Ask lots of questions & get lots of opinions from those who have done what you are wanting to do :poke:

Good luck :)

Maybe try pm'ing obsessed on the these forums. He had a nicely modified sf foz he track raced a couple of times if i remember correctly. He'll know of some of the places in Melbourne that do custom works.
