I fitted a third driving light today. Now I am running 3x narva ultima 175. Two broad beams and one pencil beam.
Here are two pics, one of them fitted and one of them in action, the result is great! The pic doesn't really depict how good they actually work.View attachment 1459

They look the goods! I would love some spotties for the distance they provide.

Not sure what the deal is with fitting an uneven number of additional lights, have you done some research? I see plenty of 4WD's running 3 light set-ups like yours around here though, and generally don't hear about run-ins with the law - I know I'd probably do the same thing...

The law states that driving lights must be evenly spaced from the center of the vehicle. So the three lights I have are technically not road worthy! But if they look neat and tidy and are not ridiculously large I don't think you will get any grief.

Driving lights must be mounted in pairs & there is a minimum distance apart. Plus they must not protrude from the front of the vehicle nor obscure the factory headlights. Besides, I wouldnt want them sticking out the front, known too many people who have had theirs smashed in a parking lot :(

Guess it just depends on the cop if they want to pull you over & give you a canary.

My pet hate is those fishing rod holders mounted pointing out ready to disembowel poor pedestrians

Looking good Andrewsubaru

By having the 3rd one where it is, how does it effect your air flow to the radiator ? Have you had any issues with engine cooling ?

Regards
