I contacted Korr lighting the other day regarding a group buy or just a bit of a deal for ORS members and the fellow rang me today and we had a chat. He was interested in what I had to say but needs to run it by his fellow directors and will contact me soon to let me know what the situation is.
These seem like very good products at a good price and the camping kits are certainly worth a second look. I've not seen any other product like this with dimmers and a selection of lights.
If you ring them they will supply any of the kits with a mixture of orange and white lights which is a good thing. Orange for outside to help with the insects and white for inside.
I'm changing over to a light bar instead of spotties and will be getting the 90w light bar and the platinum camp kit with half orange and half white lights.
Have a look through the website and see what you think and if you could post up if you are interested that would be good as I have supplied the sales manager with a link to this site and he will be checking it out.
The general idea would be everyone would be responsible for their own orders and payment.

Before you hand over your hard earned, have a look at some of the other light bars around. $369 for a 90W is pretty steep. there's been a few people on here who got this & are very happy:
90W 6250LM Cree LED Light Bar | eBay

I'd be interested if the quoted 8100Lumens of the Korr is calculated/theoretical or measured. The ebay one is 9000L theoretical & 6250 actual. And at $120 is a winner! :)

These are not for me. I realise that evilbay has lots of stuff on it but I am simply not interested in it. I'm a 'brand name' person and buy brand names at the best price I can.
I don't trust evilbay and never will. It's that simple. To me these Korr products look well made and the reviews have been good. I've handled a few items instore now and I am more than happy with them.
I look at it this way....no name ice cream at $4 for 4 ltrs is NOT Sara Lee ice cream at $6 for 1 ltr yet they are both called ice cream.
By all means, check out the links but really I am interested in who would be wanting to purchase anything on the Korr website.
I'm getting them anyway and can post a review after I get them installed.

so Nacha, that ebay seller is good? does show 100% f/b but its good getting
a review away from the ebay on sellers, so hard to find independent reviews
on ebay products......and their sellers

as for "brand names", i'm a bit dubious as to how valued that should be these days. Chinese manufacturers for a bit extra will print your package design and branding on their boxes......

so all you need is a ABN, a website and invest in some inventory with your packaging and away you go, Korr is probably just that, and successful at it,
the useful bit is that there is a local address to return a faulty product to,
but the ebay seller is also local....so..?

the probably of fault or sub-par is same from who ever you buy - IMHO

I seen the exact same package of light bar kit selling at Aldi some weeks ago....don't remember the price but it certainly wasn't in the $300+ range...

There are plenty of them that look the same out of the package but Korr certainly does not sell through Aldi. You would also need to see the specs. What are you comparing?? Was it 5w leds? How many? What lumens? What CREE led where they using? Was it IP68 rated?
I don't intend to get away from why I have posted but to compare the evilbay bars to the Korr ones seems silly. They are 3 watt 6250 lumens (theoretical 9000lumens) which of course is rubbish. IP67 rated. Nothing like the Korr one.
Cree leds, just like computer processors, have different or 'old' leds and the newer versions.
As it turns out, the guy at Autopro has offered me 5% off if I get the camping kit and light bar and that was without pushing too hard. I will get 10%
We all know that you can get stuff of evilbay and if you want, at Aldi, who I am sure are car specialists and only sell good quality stuff like $250 4x4 winches that are just fantastic and I would trust my life using them, but that is not why I have started this thread.
Look through the site and if you are interested post up. There is other stuff on the site like this
https://korrlighting.com.au/led-camping-lights-en.html
I'm not interested in Aldi stuff or evilbay or any other 'it's great because it is cheap' stuff. To me it seemed like good stuff at a reasonable price.
I've read some reviews, I've seen the items and I'm happy. Do the same and post if you are interested.

Back on topic please - this is Silver's thread gathering interest in a group buy from Korr Lighting. If interested please say so; if not then ignore it.

I agree, the Korr do look much better quality & the 5W CREE LEDs will be better. Those camping lights look good too.

& I'm sure you will get your 10% lol  If not more :iconwink:

Got 20% off from Autobarn who have 20% off storewide this weekend but not the Monday holiday.
