G'day all,

I've challenged a mate to bust his new to him defender 130 out offroad since he gives me enough crap about real 4wds. We're going to the Mt Macedon dawn service then breakfast at m&d's... Then I reckon at a out 1pm well meet up to head off. Dunno if old mate will rock up but thought a few other vehicles wouldn't hurt.

I'm open to suggestions but was thinking of heading to the cobaws as its super close to m&d's. downer is there's not a great deal out there IMO.

Wombat could be a go too, especially if someone out there knows exactly where the good stuff is that we can get there quickly and easily.

Let me know who's interested and where you'd prefer to go. I'm keen for the arvo out bush to celebrate and honour our fallen.

Regards

Bennie

would have been in mate, but planning to be a bit further west by then. Think mud holes near salty lakes and you'll get the idea.

Im keen. But its dependant on if I can get and install new struts by then.. Will let you know later in the week.

Well I havent got my new struts yet but Ill just drive on the somewhat bent one. Let me know if your still keen!
I have never driven in the cobaws but have been in the wombat plenty of times. Wombat is good if you like deep mud, not great for much else. Im good with either location.

This is still on.

Old mate's out. Going to Cobaw.

Meet point at the intersection of croziers rd, forest rd, mc kinley tk and I thing ridge rd.

12 noon meet time.

Looking forward to it. For now, drinks at our old watering hole - the mt Macedon mt inn

Cheers

Bennie

Deadman. Bring the struts with you, just in case ;) it could be a good lunchtime activity :D

I'll see if I can dig up a set of spring compressors to carry with me as I've left mine at home.

Cheers
