Went out to the dunes yesterday, had some fun. Managed to get a flat once (the bead wasn't off, but I imagine it must have been at some point) and get stuck once (not badly, probably could've gotten out alone). When I got stuck was at a pretty decent angle, far enough over that when I got back in the seatbelt was locked and I couldn't put it back on. In general the car did a lot better than I expected.

Here's a short video of a bowl, skip to 45 seconds in to see me.

And a picture coming out of the same bowl the previous time

Hopefully I can get some pictures/videos from a jump somewhere else, I was told I got a little air (not a ton, but still landed a little hard).

Yeah dunes are my favorite type of 4wding, light Subarus just love them. You guys even had your own minature nascar track there.

G'day Junkie & :welcome: to ORS.

Looks like you had a great time on the sand :)

Yep it's always fun out there. The car is still stock aside from bumpers/skid plate (and a crumpled driver's side crumple zone). I need to find some Foz struts and wheels, and get some bigger All Terrains. I'm thinking 225/75R15, and am happy to do a little trimming to make them fit.
