Hi! I mounted lifted kings today on my fozzy. Together with new front shocks from monroe. In the rear, I allready had for 1 year KYB for a SG fozzy. Took me 1 day work and it went oke.

In the rear there is a gain of 1 inch but in the front it sit 3 inch higher. So much that my fozzy is standing higher in front than in the rear. Also the front suspension is much stiffer then rear. Looks a bit silly, a bit disapointing. I hope that the front suspension will lower it self after a few hundred km's. Otherwise I will have to hurry up with fabricating a heavy winch bumper or mount a saggy but lift.

happy easter

What King Springs did you mount, SF or SG ? Hard or Medium ? And the front shocks, are they SF's or SG's ?

If everything is built ok, the front should lower after a while…hopefully !

The spring's are for a SF, the front shocks are SF, they are medium rated. the rear shocks are SG. Front shocks are new, rear 1 year old.

When i was screwing around making my lift kit i had the socks out of the car three times (sf kyb shocks, 35mm raised king springs). They always took about a week to settle back to normal height with the front always being higher than the rear, My raised king springs also sagged after about 10,000km's.

I have driven 500kms now with the new springs. It drives good stiffer but not too stif. It still looks that my car is leaning a bit backwards. Less then when i just mount them, but still.

I think i wil make some higher liftblocks fot the rear in the future.

the 3 inch lift i mentioned was compared to my 400.000km old front suspension i think they were a bit saggy. This weekend i will park my wifes 01 fozzy in front of my car to make a comparison.

Placing pics.. maybe a bit embarrassing since i am using a samsung galaxy tab 3 for internet i don't have a clue how i should pace pics. I am better with cars:shrug:

When I put in my King springs, it was a little higher at the rear as well. I now have an extra 1" block on the rear struts to give it a nice forward rake.

Sounds like your springs have settled, they'll continue to soften up for a while.
