Hi all i am the social director and training officer of the Subaru 4wd Club of Queensland i am running a weekend trip away down to Night Cap National Park on the 14th - 15th February.
With some great views of Mount Warning, rainforests and water falls.
We start at Maccas Beaudesert 8:00am on the 14th drive along the Lions Road then on to Tweed Range Road down along Kyogle Road to Nimbin (man) then on to Night Cap staying at Rummery Park just in Whian Whian State Forest.At one point we will be 1000m above sea level.
Sunday do the Minyon falls walk 4km or just relax at camp, it is a family oriented weekend so there will be no 4wding.
The weekend will take in a lot of dirt roads they are in good condition so bring the family.
Ideal for Outbacks and Foresters so come and get them dirty
, if you want to come just for the day you are quite welcome.
There will be a small fee for NSW forestry and camping.

PS when i was doing the reccee for this trip i found this Nissan Patrol driver stuck in a side track where he shouldn't have been to his surprise i got him out (he didn't have any recovery gear) i carry it with me all the time
