The rotating switch on the indicator stalk on my 2002 SG appears to be faulty with the head lights flickering or coming on then going off again. So I carefully rotate the switch a fraction of a mm and the lights come back on.
Has anyone experienced this problem ? Can it be repaired or is a new stalk assembly required?
Once the switch is on the lights will remain on but when flicking the stalk for high/ low beam or turning indicators the lights can switch off requiring the switch to be twisted to get contact.

New stalk is the easiest option, take it apart and see if there's a screw to tighten the switch or shim up the worn switch then give it a test.

I have this exact issue at the moment just havent had time to pull it apart. The lights seem to turn off most frequently when the blinker flicks off. Might try this weekend.

I had the same problem with my RX Liberty 1999 model
I bought a new Subaru stork on ebay cheap but now it has stopped flickering
Just my luck
