What size tank/s and what do you get in km/l from them

I have a Ford Falcon that can do 500km for approx 50L on the open road
filling both petrol and lpg I reckon I could get 1000km

I now want something as "reliable" and efficient as "possible"
for off road

Note: The Falcon Engine is on 320k and should go to the moon 1000,000k
that is my intention - fussy on my maintenance

I want to get the same out of a Subaru - no I am not joking

So what do you recomend

G'Day MM - I think your questions are answered in the Subaru & LPG Conversion thread referenced above.

Yep I have a Lovato system with a Prins computerized lube system on a 2.0 n/a auto. Cost me $2500 US installed. Done about 40 000kms with it. So far happy.
LPG is 50% the cost of petrol here, so a big savings. I dont feel a difference in power, even though they say you lose a bit on LPG. My consumption is crap about 13.5l/100km, but my model is not considered frugal anyway. I have a 45l tank in spare wheel well which gives me a range of just over 300km which is a bit limiting but not too bad, didnt want a huge big tank in the rear so its a compromise. My spare I keep strapped to the side of the luggage compartment in an upright position. this is to protect it from theft and the elements. when going away I use a roof rack anyway so the spare either goes on the roof or stays inside depending on my requirements. all in all I'm happy and would definitely consider it on all future vehicles I own.

I have the same sett up as mike. Also so a prins instalation The 80%limiter broke down, so I can actually put 45liter in the tank that brings me 350km s. No flashlube and allready 390,000km on the odo with the first engine. Cars are my work, but I do not know an other brand who last this long on lpg.
Originally there was small special sparetyre mounted under the car. That wasn't the best place if you like to drive off-road occasionally.
So it is now in the trunk and this winter I gonna make a tyre carrier at the back.

I drive 110km p/day and Lpg costs 1/3 of petrol so also big savings here
