Orlando Street Racer Owned!

I wonder what language they're speaking? Thank goodnes ORS is in English that's mostly understandable:p

No you guy speak Australian lol. To be honest some of your guys slang really throws me off, i.e. bonnet, that one confused me for a while. Over here that's like a bow or something you wear I think lol. Trying to read European slang (UK mostly) is the hardest to catch on to.

i don't have a clue what those guys are on about??? fair enough i got the part about the street racing and getting a ticket for going to slow ( suck sh1t to him because street racers suck arse) but the replys i just dont understand??? different slang i suppose. what does "OWNED" mean?

He was lucky to just get a ticket. In some parts of the world they (police) could have confiscated his car or even crushed it.

Owned=when you are destroyd either physically or mentally because of your on pitfalls. (basically)

The main point of the amazingness of that was not that he got caught, or complained about getting a slow ticket for street racing, it was the fact that if you look four posts down or so "M Davis" replies saying he was the cop that pulled him over and would gladly take the punk to court after printing out the forum post.

Disclaimer - this is assuming you were the moron racing on John Young past Walmart (near the roadside crosses where those 3 girls were killed in a street racing crash). If not, then I had someone just as idiotic do the same thing.

You just don't understand a break when I give you one. Please take me to court so I can print this out and show the judge."

Fair dinkum cobber. You ought to have a captain cook at a book of aussie phrases. Wouldn't call it hard yakka, but you might still find it difficult. What really threw me for years was how you pronounced aluminium illoominum. I'm 44 and it was only in the last 5 years or so I realised what it was! Because of the TV shows or movies I saw it in I thought it was some trendy new metal. Feel a bit of a dill now though.

Thanks for the translation Real Lyte - now I'm beginning to get it:biggrin:. So what you're saying is this bloke was hooning like a wanker and when he went all geriatric a Rozzer in a Candy Car nabbed him. Said Copper then cut the bugger some slack and slapped his wrist rather than throwing the book at him. The dickhead is aggro and showing what a complete tosser he is by posting on the forum. Did I get it?:p

As for the OWNED thing, that just completely escapes me even after the translation. I know I own a Forester. Does that count?

haha it's not surprising the police here in florida use some crazy tactics. They get creative. I can't believe he found him on the forum and posted that, wow that was timeless!
