I've been helping my niece with a car purchase while in the big smoke.
Ended up with this.
Mazda3 Neo Hatch, runout model, with tint, floor mats, bonnet protector and slimline plates....$18,500 driveaway.
Gotta be pretty happy with that I reckon.

Apparently the next model 3 is a huge leap forward. My parents bought a Mazda 6- a pretty impressive car. I took it for a drive on Boxing Day and not only does it have some decent acceleration- it sounds good doing it. Looks like Mazda is the new Subaru. Just needs a boxer engine and AWD!

.... My lil girl wanted a Mazda 2.. Kermit green 5 speed. Sent me shopping for one in brisbane. Drove it from here to Canberra and have to say I was mightily impressed. She is ecstatic with her new wheels ... I did do my best to turn her... But chip off the old block, she knows what she wants!

Yep here also. I'd buy a new Mazda too. Any of them except for the new Bt-50. With the problems they are already having I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole!

I've not been looking. What's the story with the BT50's?
My nephew and his son have a dual cab and a freestyle cab and they are very happy with them...so far.
