How a Subie handles the ice.

We had a major ice storm this weekend in North Texas that shut down the entire Metroplex. I was told a Subaru can do everything, so I went driving around...

I watched them over on SubaruForester.org.

Seemed to handle it very well from the videos.

How twitchy was it? Directional stability?
 
The Fozzie's tail will kick out in a corner if you give it a little gas. It also tries to straighten itself up after every turn. Stopping was the hard part in this ice.
At times it was pushing (understeer), throttle fixes that.

Something that rather surprises me over at the other forum is that very few people seem to read what anyone else writes (with some notable exceptions, but not very often ... ). A bit odd, IMO. Do you find it the same?
 
Yeah, they are more of a picture and video group, hahaha.
