2 short questions..

Which spring brand will give me the most lift. King or ironman?

If I compare the prices then the king springs are more expensive, at least here in europe. Are they also better then ironman?

Maybe someone can answer the first question with certainty so I will leave it to them.

King springs are well regarded here in aus and I have used them for years without issue.

Been wondering the same thing. Haven't heard of much difference but I don't know of anyone who has experience with both.
I'm in the same boat as you here in the states. The Ironman Springs are significantly cheaper than the Kings but for that kind of cash I might as well get the best quality springs I can.

You would need to know the spring specifications; what is the height above OEM standard and what rating is the spring. Kings are manufactured in Australia "certified as complying with ISO-9001" whereas I think Ironman are made in China.

had to giggle when I read that. "Made in China".... probably from Aussie steel

Most likely!

I would recommend King springs over Ironman, guessing both have similar lift.

Remember when you use raised springs, you reduce articulation, although onroad handling is better despite the lift

Yeh I know Nachaluva. Offroading here in Holland It’s mostly muddy with a lot of tracks from other cars. Ground clearance is the biggest problem with my car at the moment. I removed my rear swaybar and have 2cm liftblocks at the moment and bigger grabber AT2’s. It is not enough, (or I’am driving to enthusiast..)
My car hits the ground quite often, it already cost me 2 rearmufflers. So I will start with springs, and maybe, maybe, if I know to convince my wife, then I want a body lift like you made.. but then with 4 inch lift blocks above the springs
First start are the springs. King spring cost a whopping 244 euro here (=367 aus $)

I actually just looked into it myself not so long ago. King springs are more expensive but for my model out back both were the same size. Only thing was iron man didn't stock them.and was gonna take a few weeks to get them.

I found a business in poland who is selling ironman. I send them an email in german and got an answer within 1hour on sunday. That is fast!. Although they didn't answer my question how much lift the ironman springs will give. Could be that they did not understand my attempt to write in german. German is quite difficult to write if you are dutch.. :iconwink:
They have ironman SUB001& SUB002 in stock. Are these the lifted springs?

Ironman costs 420 euro, king springs here in holland 560 euro. I' am Dutch so i think i will take the ironman option..

Or you guys must give me a good reason not to do this
